The SPC Group (Chairman Hur Young-in) announced on June 3 that it opened its store on 57th street in Columbus Circle in New York.

This is the 7th store in Manhattan. The café type store with an area of 195 square meters is located around Columbus Circle, which has a monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus.

In particular, the region has prestigious buildings, concert halls, and parks including Time Warner Center, Trump Tower, Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, and Central Park. Therefore, it is the busiest area in Manhattan and has an average floating population of 10 million a day.

Also, SPC Group’s stores, which were opened in major business districts such as Midtown, the Upper West Side, Times Square, and Park Avenue over recent years are receiving positive responses from local consumers. It also led to visits of consumers and a surplus in sales.

An official from Paris Baguette USA said, “As we have entered the major business district in Manhattan, we are receiving favorable reviews on our products and services from locals. We will make efforts to make Paris Baguette the most popular brand in the U.S.”

Meanwhile, the SPC Group currently runs 43 stores all across the U.S., and plans to start its franchise business from the second half of this year.
