LS Group announced on Jan. 8 that group chairman Koo Ja-eun attended CES 2023 in Las Vegas of the United States with executives and employees from the group's major affiliates for two days on Dec. 6 and 7.

Koo was accompanied by Myung Roh-hyun, CEO of LS Corp., Koo Bon-kyu, CEO of LS Cable & System, and some 20 "LS Futurists," employees who were selected for excellent new business ideas in September in 2022.

“I enjoyed observing future advanced technologies for autonomous driving, mobility, and net zero, which have become major technology trends at this year's CES exhibition, and found that these technologies are moving forward ‘Electrification in Everything’,” Koo said. “Earlier this year, LG Group declared Vision 2030 and pledged to become a leading partner for companies that move toward carbon-free electricity (CFE). I have strong confidence that we will be able to realize Vision 2030.”

“I hope that CEOs of major LS affiliates and the LS Futurists learn a lot about advanced global technologies at CES 2030 and gain insight to help LS Group achieve its vision,” he added.

Apart from CES, Koo and the CEOs visited global companies such as Tesla, IDEO, and IBM’s Quantum Computing Lab. They also discussed the North American business strategies of major LS affiliates such as LS Cable, LS Electric, LS MnM, and LS Mtron.
