Amorepacific has been included in the list of the global top 100 luxury brands in terms of sales. It was the only Korean company to make the list, which was announced by Deloitte Korea on Jan. 6.

The combined sales of the top 100 global luxury brands amounted to US$305 billion in 2022, exceeding the pre-pandemic level. The figure represented a 21.5 percent increase from 2021.

Amorepacific is the only Korean brand among the top 100. The Korean cosmetics giant, which focuses on luxury and premium beauty care products, placed 19th with sales of US$3.731 billion in 2022, a 11.6 percent increase from a year ago.

Apart from Amorepacific, the top 100 list newly included a total of nine companies: G-III Apparel Group, Unilever Prestige Beauty, Gerhard D. Wemfe GmbH, Aritzia, Soma Fashion Group, Lanvin Group, ICCF Group, and Mannai Corporation’s Damas International and Falke.

Farfetch, a leading global luxury e-commerce company, was selected as the fastest-growing company with an average annual growth rate of 104.7 percent over the past three years (2018-2021).
