Recognized for Carbon Management Efforts

Hyosung Advanced Materials and Hyosung TNC have both earned a BBB rating in the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) ESG evaluation. 

Hyosung Advanced Materials and Hyosung TNC have both obtained a BBB rating in the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) ESG evaluation, one grade higher than 2021.  

MSCI ESG Ratings are designed to measure a company's management of financially relevant ESG risks and opportunities. They are representative global ESG rating indexes that serve as an investment benchmark for major global investment companies. Since 1999, MSCI has evaluated ESG activities of listed companies around the world and disclosed the results every year.

Hyosung Advanced Materials was recognized for its carbon management efforts. Its greenhouse gas emissions are lower than those of other companies in the same industry. After receiving a B grade in the first evaluation in 2019 and a BB grade in 2020, it received a BBB grade in 2021.

Hyosung TNC was also highly evaluated for its industry-leading carbon reduction strategy and implementation. It won a BBB rating in the 2021 evaluation, following a BB rating in 2019 and 2020. The two companies stand at a high level among global raw material and chemical companies in the same industry.
