Lotte Hotel Moscow won “The best city hotel in Russia 2014,” the company said on Thursday.
The award is the most prestigious and exceptional accolade in the travel industry, given by Conde Nast Traveller, the top world travel magazine.
This makes the 3rd consecutive time that Lotte Hotel Moscow received the Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice award. The readers of the most influential magazine in the travel industry vote for the the world’s leading hotels, destinations, airlines and restaurants each year.
The general manager of the hotel appreciated the efforts of its employees during the ceremony, saying, “It is an extreme honor to receive the award for the third consecutive year. This achievement was made by committed workers to provide the highest standard service.”
Lotte Hotel & Resort is the largest hotel group in Korea, with domestic and international chains representing the alpha and omega of Korea’s hospitality industry. It plans to build more than 40 hotels around the world and operate in Moscow, Ho Chi Minh City, Tashkent, Guam, and Hanoi. Moscow is the first overseas step of the Lotte Hotel brand.
In 2010, the luxurious Lotte Hotel Moscow opened in the center of the city offering 300 rooms and suites and 4 restaurants. Last year, one of the restaurants, named MEGU, was bestowed as “The Best Hotel Restaurant” by the same magazine. Michelin three-star Chef Pierre Gagnaire handles its French cuisine restaurant. The hotel is also equipped with six conference halls suitable for business banquets and events of various sizes, an innovative Club Floor, a state-of-the-art fitness center with a swimming pool, and the world-famous Mandara Spa.
