Hyosung employees talk business with visitors to the JEC Europe 2014 held in Paris, France, for three days from March 11th to 13th (local time).

The Hyosung Corporation will participate in JEC Europe 2015, the world’s largest complex material exhibition, in Paris, France from March 10 to 12 (local time).

During the event, the company will display its superior quality and high-functioning self-developed carbon fiber called Tansome, and introduce “Carbon Valley,” which is being constructed in Jeollabuk-do, to the public.

For its contributions to the next-generation concept car Intrado that uses Tansome last year, Hyosung received a JEC Europe 2015 Innovation Award, along with Hyundai Motor and Lotte Chemical.

The company is planning to push ahead with continuous developments of Tansome in order to expand the use to various auto parts, including vehicle frames, in the future. Also, Hyosung will join hands with local small and medium-sized companies to participate in major international carbon exhibitions, including in France, the U.S., and China, and operate a joint booth, expanding the market.

“As a partner, we are happy with the fact that Hyundai Motor’s next-generation concept car Intrado, which used Hyosung’s Tansome, received the award,” said Cho Hyun-sang, the head of industrial material PG and vice president of the strategic business division of Hyosung.
