Expenses Mount

 

Seoul has the highest clothing prices in the world, as determined by a survey conducted in 133 cities by the Economist Intelligence Unit of the Economist Group.

According to the survey results, Singapore is the most expensive city to live in, followed by Paris, Oslo, Zurich, Sydney, Melbourne, Geneva, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Tokyo. Seoul and Singapore recorded the highest clothing prices, those in the former being 50 percent higher than in New York. Also, the price of 1 kg of pasta noodles was US$4 in Seoul, twice the price in a Walmart in the U.S.
