LG Electronics’ latest TVs and washing machines have acquired more excellent quality certifications abroad.
LG Electronics announced on Feb. 22 that its ultra OLED TV received a certificate of superior image quality from the German Association of Electrical Engineers, Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE).
VDE said that LG’s 77 and 65 inch ultra OLED TVs are superior in high contrast range, displaying the brightest whites and the deepest blacks. They also have superior color accuracy.
Digitaltrends, a premier source for technology news and unbiased expert product reviews in the U.S., gave a perfect 5 star rating to LG’s ultra OLED TV (65EC9700) after a meticulous test conducted on TVs being sold in the U.S. The 65EC9700 was selected as the editor’s choice.
LG Electronics’ drum washing machines have also received a “eco-design” certification from the French electricity industries' central laboratory (LCIE), a new milestone for the company.
The product passed the exacting environmentally-friendly assessment criteria of the LCIE, including energy consumption, raw material consumption, the emissions of toxic substances, and the number of parts used.
LCIE is the largest private, non-profit research organization in France, with a 100 year history. It tests and researches about electronic and electric parts and products. The test results and certifications of the LCIE have public confidence throughout Europe.
