Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) announced on April 7 that it has won an order to supply "future mid cabin fairing package parts" for the Gulfstream G280 business jet from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

KAI president Ahn Hyun-ho met with IAI CEO Boaz Levy during his visit to Israel from March 31 to April 6. They signed a new contract on 16 types of G280 fairing package parts. The contract value was not disclosed.

The structures are placed under the main wings of an aircraft and play a key role in its flight.

KAI signed parts supply contracts for the G280 with IAI in 2019 and 2020.

During this meeting, the two companies saw eye to eye on strengthening technological cooperation in the fields of manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) and attack drones, as well as the joint development and performance improvement of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
