Cineview Monitors

LG Electronics is strengthening its marketing strategy to target the global monitor market, expanding its lineup of Cineview Monitors with a screen ratio of 21:9. The company is planning to increase the number of its 21:9 monitor lineup to 20 products and 12 series, which is a 50 percent increase from last year.

As its screen ratio is similar to a screen in a theater, the product is best suited for watching videos and images on a wide screen, including movies and Internet lectures. The product also has a split screen function. With a single click, the screen can be divided into a maximum of 4, which allows consumers to multi-task more easily.

The LG Cineview Monitor (Model 34UM95/34UC97) has been validated by the global top 3 certificate authorities, including Underwriter Laboratories in the U.S., TUV Rheinland in Germany, and Intertek in the UK.

The LG Cineview Monitor (34UM95) received the Best of YEAR by reviewed.com, an influential IT media property in the U.S. It rated 10 out of 10 on the product in monitor product testing last year.

Also, TweakTown, another IT media property, awarded their Best Features Award to the Cineview Monitor (34UC97). The award is given to the product which has outstanding performance compared with competitive products.

Lee In-kyu, head of the TV and monitor division at LG Electronics, said, “As we confirmed the growth potentials of 21:9 screened monitors, we are strengthening the marketing strategy to enter the global market by expanding its lineup drastically.”
