LG Denies Overheating Issue with Snapdragon 810

LG Electronics flatly denied speculation on overheating of the Snapdragon 810.

“It does not overheat any more than existing smartphones,” said an official at LG at the media launch held at its headquarters, Seoul, after conducting performance tests of the G Flex 2 with the Snapdragon 810, Qualcomm's 64 bit octa-core chipset.

Woo Ram-chan, head of LTE product planning at LG, remarked, “After three months of product tests, I am very satisfied with the product. I don't know that overheating is an issue.”

He said, “Even with the full operation of 8 core chipsets, the new model does not overheat significantly.”
