Samsung Electronics won a CES Innovation Award with its new SUHD TVs this year.

The Consumer Electronic Association (CEA) gave a CES Innovation Award to all of the 65 inch, 85 inch, 105 inch, and 110 inch models.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Samsung has received a CES Innovation Award in a TV category.

The 105 inch flexible model (UN105S9B) was favorably reviewed, since it has a 21:9 screen ration, which gives viewers a sense of full immersion. Its panel made of a proprietary nanomaterial, an SUHD remastering engine, and optimized content can deliver true UHD TV experiences.

The Tizen operating system to be introduced to Samsung's smart TVs in 2015 was also highly praised and awarded for the contribution that it greatly improved user experiences in an easy, fast, and convenient manner as an open platform that will lead industry standards.

The UN82S9W model, which was created in collaboration with Designer Yves Behar, won an award as well.

Global major media outlets, which participated at this year's CES, also gave lavish praise to Samsung's SUHD TVs. In particular, UK-based IT magazine Trusted Reviews selected Samsung's SUHD TVs as the 10 Best Tech Innovations of CES 2015.

“Samsung's SUHD TVs are a new kind of TVs that have overcame the limits of existing TVs,” remarked Kim Hyun-seok, head of Samsung Electronics’ visual display unit. He also stressed, “I believe that our models will innovate the trend of the TV industry.”
