LG Electronics will open an era of OLED TVs in 2015 by strengthening its lineup of the products.

LG is scheduled to showcase 7 types of OLED TVs at CES 2015 in Las Vegas to be held from Jan. 6.

After unveiling 77 and 65 inch ultra OLED TVs in August of last year, the company is going to reveal a 55 inch model this time, completing its lineup of ultra OLED TVs. The tech giant is expected to offer all three sizes in flexible, curved, or flat styles as well.

LG hopes their 2015 OLED TV line-up reminds people of artwork, since the company could reduce the size of the components in the existing slim and light OLED TVs, which gives the models an artistic, slim design. The use of a transparent stand gives the impression that the TV screen is hanging in the air, which creates a sense of full immersion.

LG Electronics' 55, 65, and 77 inch displays to be shown at CES 2015.Moreover, the ULTRA Surround system delivers balanced, high-quality sound with an extra wide playable bandwidth, in collaboration with audio equipment maker Harman/Kardon.

LG's OLED TVs provide near-infinite contrast ratio, fast responses, and extremely wide viewing angles, which set them apart from existing TVs. The new generation TVs can respond 1,000 times faster than LCD TVs, and thus realize natural images without incidental flickers.

The Consumer Electronics Association, an organizer of the trade show, has already awarded LG three OLED TVs 2015 CES Innovation Awards for a flexible OLED TV (77EG9900), a curved OLED TV (65EG9600), and a flat OLED TV (55EF9500).

“Our OLED TVs with great image resolution and slim artistic design will offer new value that consumers haven't experienced on existing TVs,” said Lee In-kyu, managing director of the TV/monitor business at LG.
