A TV That Can Stand Leaning against a Wall
LG Electronics announced on Dec. 8 that it will introduce a new OLED TV model with a moving cover.
The new product is the LG OLED evo Object Collection. It can stand leaning against or closely contacting a wall, allowing viewers to create a differentiated space.
The new model comes with a moving cover, which allows viewers to watch a part of the screen when extremely violent and cruel scenes appear. The screen and the moving cover are placed up and down on a metal frame. The moving cover can be adjusted with a dedicated remote control.
Speakers mounted behind the moving cover generate 80 watt stereoscopic sounds via up to 4.2 channels.
LG Electronics used Danish premium textile brand Kvadrat fabric in producing the moving cover. The moving cover comes in three colors -- beige, redwood, and green. The new model will hit the shelf on Dec. 15.
