LG Electronics will unveil a variety of new products at CES 2015 scheduled for Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas.
The exhibits include curved and flat UHD TVs from 40 to 105 inches that come with better design, smart functions, and sharper sound and picture quality. Two of the examples are the Wide Color LED Series focusing on color reproduction and contrast and the Color Prime Series UHD Tvs, both of which use quantum dot technology.
LG Electronics is planning to show a so-called twin washing system, too, which is said to be a mini washing machine combined with a large-capacity drum washing machine. It can be remotely controlled and checked by the HomeChat service and new washing programs can be downloaded wirelessly via smartphones.
The company will also present refrigerators using its advanced inverter linear compressors. For instance, the premium Double Magic Space refrigerator with a capacity of 950 liters will provide Magic Spaces on both the right and left doors. The reinforced glass panel on the front surface has hidden edges for better design. The 824-liter, water-purifying and ice-dispensing refrigerator, which has freezer compartments in the lower section, is exhibited along with the French Four Door and Double Door Refrigerators. The former has been chosen by more than 3,000 customers a month in Korea since it was released in July, and the latter won the CES 2015 Innovation Award based on their high space utilization efficiency.
