The Total English Education Fair with Experience (TEEF) 2011, which is hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do, Changwon-si, and the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education and is jointly sponsored by EBS and K&C, will be held for 4 days from June 23 (Thursday) to 26 (Sunday) at Changwon Exhibition Convention Center (CECO).
The 1st TEEF event gained huge success in 2008 beyond everybody’s expectations as one of the biggest national events, and the 4th TEEF event is coming soon this year.
Around 80 companies will join this year’s event, and 310 booths will be installed. The event will be a venue to exchange experience-focused education information in order to satisfy a sense of relative isolation of local citizens who live far from big cities and worry about the centralization of education information in the metropolitan area as well as to improve the efficiency of the private English education expense, which amounts to 8.36 trillion won or over 40% of the total private education expenses.
The Credible TEEF 2011!
Since the TEEF is a special English education exhibition with a strong network of providing institutional supports for English public education and is hosted and supported by Gyeongsangnam-do, Changwon-si, the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education, and a representative Korean education broadcasting company EBSe, it has become one of the most significant exhibitions in Changwon where many visitors, including school vice-commissioners responsible for English, principals, vice principals, teachers, and parents attend every year.
Changwon, the Heart of English
The TEEF 2011 will give priceless opportunities to help you get public education-focused English information by providing the ESL Zone where native English teachers offer first-hand English speaking experiences, the Sample Classroom Teaching Zone, the latest English devices, English books, and English content.
The Changing Education
At the TEEF 2011, education specialists will introduce valuable English education information of the participating companies. This will bring about practical changes in English education, vitalize the English public education, and offer businesses effective marketing opportunities.
In addition, the current address and the future of Korea’s English public education will be discussed through various workshops, including “The English Education Policy Conference” jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education and EBS’s “The Effective Way of Using EBSe Channel”
“The Pop Song Contest (for elementary school children)” and “The English Speech Contest (for middle school students),” which are hosted the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education, will be held from June 25 (Saturday) to 26 (Sunday), and the winners will receive awards from the Gyeongsangnam-do superintendent of education.
