Located 541 meters above the ground, the Sky Bridge of the Lotte World Tower is a bridge at the highest altitude in the world. The bridge, nicknamed a "rooftop on a rooftop," has been gaining popularity since 2020 by operating a so-called "high-altitude activity program" as an experience course for the public.

The bridge drew attention when experience videos of celebrities such as BTS and Pengsu were released on social media (SNS) pages. Thanks to them, it seems to be emerging as a bucket list item among the MZ generation.

The official name of the experience program is Sky Bridge Tour. The key is the experience of crossing the 11-meter-long bridge connecting twin structures on the top roof of the Lotte World Tower by harnessing the safety gear safe roller. “It is a special program where you can experience the world's tallest bridge located 541 meters above the ground with an open view of Seoul and feel Korea's tallest building directly in person,” a Lotte World Tower official said.

In 2021, the thrill has been further upgraded. Previously, the bottom of the bridge was lattices made of steel. In addition, recently, a stepping stone section without steel lattices has been added at the beginning and end of the bridge. The space between the stepping stones is empty, so visitors can see the scenery 541 meters below. Those who experienced the bridge say that they had to rely only on the safety rollers and handles connected to the harness, which added to their excitement and thrills.

The tour is taken by a group of up to 12 people and runs for an hour with a guide. It runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday of a week, excluding days with increment weather. The last group of a day begins to take a tour at 7 p.m.
