Hanwha Life Insurance has forged a partnership with the Women Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control Agency of Jakarta, Indonesia. The agreement was joined by World Vision and the Life Insurance Social Contribution Committee of Korea.

On hand at the signing ceremony held at the agency building on Sept. 29 were Yeom Kyung-sun, head of Hanwha Life's Indonesian subsidiary, Anies Baswedan, governor of Jakarta, and Tuty Kusumawati, director of the Women Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control Agency.

Under the agreement, Hanwha Life Insurance will run the Digital Family Center of Jakarta, which provides communication space for women and children affected by domestic violence and offers direct counseling and online education to them. In addition, it will digitalize and manage data on the history of Jakarta children, including their medical treatment and education which have been difficult to manage, and growth records of children who used local children's centers.

In addition, the center will play the role of a hub for the local children's center project, which has been promoted by Hanwha Life Insurance's Indonesian subsidiary since 2017. In particular, Hanwha Life Insurance's Indonesian subsidiary plans to produce financial education materials for children and support education through open studios that can produce and transmit education-related content.
