Thanks to the convergence of fashion and IT, business suits are becoming smarter. As wearable devices like smart glasses and smart watches are emerging, smart wear products that use IT are being showcased.

Lotte Department Store has launched smart wear brand Avalanch, which was developed jointly by Parsons and Iriver, and will be sold in its five branches starting on Nov. 7.

The suit contains a heating unit, a controller, and a remote control. It is possible to increase its temperature up to 50 degrees in one minute with a remote control. A controller displays the power supply of the heating unit, the power remaining, and the current temperature.

The heating device can last up to six hours after charging, and it can also charge up to two dead smartphones via the built-in Micro USB. It can easily be removed as well.

Cheil Industries recently showcased the Rogatis Smart Suit 2.0, where a Near Field Communication (NFC) tag is inserted inside the pocket of the jacket.

It is possible to automatically unlock a phone by taking it out of a suit pocket. It is also possible to send name cards using SMS, e-mail, or NFC. In addition, the suit can trigger a smartphone's etiquette mode, making it silent or blocking incoming calls. Since a heating material was used in the inside of the jacket, people can feel two to three degrees warmer in the suit.

Cheil Industries offers free mobile content to those who purchase smart suits. The company also provides three video lectures about economy, business, culture, and art each week, as well as the Samsung Music service to Samsung phone users.
