LG Group has added seven different designs to its red circular symbol mark, the shape of a winking face. It decorated the symbol mark with various colors and designs while maintaining its original form.

"We have redecorated the symbol mark with new designs which mean youth, human, technology, world, and future,” LG Group said on June 10. “The new symbol mark will be exposed through various online and offline channels along with the current one." LG’s newly decorated symbol mark embodies blooming flowers or water drops creating waves when they fall on the surface.

LG decided to apply the new symbol mark design to its employees' business cards first. One side will show employees’ companies and departments and contacts and the other side the new logo. Eco-friendly paper containing recycled pulp will be used for the business cards.

"By making the LG brand look young and dynamic, we are trying to get closer to MZ-generation (those born in the 1980s and early 2000s) consumers." an LG official said.
