KCC (CEO Chung Mong-ik) released KCC Nature Glass Wool based on a natural binder that it developed for the first time in Korea. The inorganic heat insulation material is characterized by the fact that it discharges no formaldehyde at all.
The KCC Nature Glass Wool uses a natural organic binder extracted from corn to be free from any organic compound such as formaldehyde, which is one of the main culprits of sick house syndrome.
The Clean Mat is an improvement in which an eco-friendly binder is applied to existing Glass Wool products. The KCC is planning to apply the binder to all nine Glass Wool products in order to complete the Nature Glass Wool lineup.
“The new product is a highly eco-friendly and zero-formaldehyde one, adopting a natural organic binder while maintaining the advantages of the previous product,” the company explained.
