The Galleria, one of Korea’s most luxurious department stores, has joined forces with Bergdorf Goodman, one of the most luxurious “Fifth Avenue” department stores from New York.
Hanwha Galleria (CEO Park Se-hun) announced that the Galleria Luxury Store in Gangnam Branch has affiliated itself with Bergdorf Goodman of New York on Sept. 14. VIP customers from each department store will now get the same services from both. The service is exclusive to these two department stores.
With this affiliation, the Galleria succeeded in taking a step forward towards marking a global presence, enabling the possibility for global partnerships with other top department stores around the world.
VIP customers of the Galleria will receive special discounts on accommodations from the affiliated hotels of Bergdorf Goodman. They will also receive free tea from the company's 7th floor restaurant. There are bilingual personal shoppers on standby as well for translation and fashion advice. VIP customers of Bergdorf Goodman will also receive the same level of service in the Galleria. They will be able to use the Park Jade lounge, personal shoppers, and a concierge service.
