Exercise App
Nike, which has been maintaining strong cooperative relationship with Apple since the iPod was first introduced, finally formed a partnership with Samsung Electronics and will release an exercise app.
Samsung Electronics announced on August 31 that they developed the Nike Plus Running app together with Nike, and will provide this app for the Samsung Gear S, the smart watch to be released in Berlin, Germany in early September.
This app measures the amount of exercise through Bluetooth and 3G networks, which are equipped inside the Samsung Gear S.
The Gear S is able to operate independently without a smartphone, users could check their running routes, how much they exercised, their hearbeat, and Nuke Fuel points simply by raising their wrist, even when their smartphone is at home.
Thanks to the music player internally equipped with this app, users can also listen to music while working out.
