Grundfos is one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers, with an annual production of more than 16 million pump units, which covers the wide range of application areas: heating, air conditioning, pressure boosting, waste water and fire fighting. Incorporated in 1989 as a local subsidiary, Grundfos Korea has achieved remarkable growth installing its products in more than 90% of the symbolic high-rise buildings in Seoul.
Furthermore, Grundfos Korea has introduced a number of innovative business models to the Korean market. For example, Grundfos introduced GPAK (Grundfos Pumps Academy Korea) which trains local engineers on advanced pump technology. Also with the recognition of energy saving, Grundfos Korea has been conducting 'pump audit’, auditing & measuring energy consumption and efficiency of pump systems in the factory, commercial and residential buildings and etc. Finally in compensation for its strong commitment to energy saving, Grundfos Korea received a presidential citation for energy saving in 2003 and positioned itself as a highly competitive pump system supplier.
In 2010, Grundfos Korea will celebrate its 20th anniversary. For last 20 years, Grundfos Korea has fulfilled its responsibility as a leader in energy saving by providing energy-efficient pumps. Also, recently, the company announced its “Green Management” to deliver its dedication to low carbon & green growth of Korea. With acquisition of Chungsuk and KJI, Grundfos Korea is currently managing three companies and three factories in Korea.
