The Korea Power Exchange announced on Jan. 25 that the domestic trading volume of fuel cell-based electric power jumped more than 50 percent last year as state-run power companies and those in the private sector substantially increased their fuel cell power generation facilities in accordance with the government’s policy.

The capacity, which stood at 56 MW in 2012, increased more than 10-fold in eight years by showing an average annual increase of 38.1 percent.
