A Luxury Tumbler Brand

Gourmet F&B Korea, an affiliate of LF Corp., will launch the U.S. premium tumbler brand "Hydro Flask" in the Korean home shopping market.

Hydro Flask is a luxury tumbler brand that is enjoying a strong fan base in the Korean and overseas markets. It retails between 30,000 won and 50,000 won per unit in Korea. It is mainly distributed through luxury department stores and flagship stores located in key commercial districts in major cities around the world. It enters the home shopping distribution market for the first time.

Gourmet F&B Korea has decided to launch Hydro Flask in the home shopping market in light of the current Korean distribution industry environment in which home shopping channels themselves are recognized as luxury brands as the proportion of high-end brands and products in their sales has swelled significantly in recent years.

Gourmet F&B Korea launched Hydro Flask through CJ O Shopping's flagship program "Good Life of Kang Joo-eun," which ran for 60 minutes from 8:20 a.m. on Nov. 7. The program sold a set of a 20-ounce (591 ml) and a 16-ounce (473 ml) wide mouth tumbler, a 16-ounce (473 ml) coffee lead tumbler and an exclusive cleaning brush for 119,000 won and the set with a big wide mouth tumbler at 169,000 won. These are up to 27 percent off their normal prices.

CJ O Shopping's "Kang Joo-eun's Good Life" has become a representative program in the Korean home shopping industry three years after its launch. In the program, actor Choi Min-soo's wife and Miss Korea-turned-TV celebrity Kang Joo-eun honestly shares her know-how in good housekeeping that comes from her own experience by introducing only products used and verified by her.

Meanwhile, Hydro Flask launched in Oregon of the United States in 2009 is a global tumbler brand that has posted explosive sales growth of more than two digits in the global market every year in line with a global environmental campaign craze that avoids the use of plastic water bottles. It is now selling in 20 countries including the United States, Germany, Japan, France, the United Kingdom, and Australia as a global tumbler brand.
