K-Beauty 2014 Brings Back its Glory to the World!

From Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, the 6th Beauty EXPO (K-Beauty EXPO 2014) will be held at KINTEX in Gyeonggi Province.

For two years in a row, the K-Beauty EXPO has received the international exhibition certificate from the Ministry of Trade, industry & Energy, boosting its position as a specialized expo in the beauty industry. To accelerate the global entry of domestic firms related to the beauty industry, K-Beauty EXPO is making improvements all round.

This year’s exhibition is designed to be more convenient to visitors by repositioning the booths by item, rather than by company size. It is also planning to have “K-Beauty 10,” a special section for innovative products with events like product testing and best product voting, adding both fun and unique elements to the exhibition.

In addition, K-Beauty will work on connecting domestic companies with good export potential with foreign buyers, and introduce genuine buyers from the Middle East and Southeast Asia to the domestic companies by conducting 1:1 export consultations through KOTRA international business agents.

​An improved version of plain matchmaking, this consultation service enables the exchange of information between the domestic companies and buyers to increase the chance of success. Since the performance of previous export consultations had been satisfactory, K-Beauty expects this year’s performance to also be good.

K-Beauty will also make separate days for business owners and visitors, naming them “business days” and “public days,” to accommodate the different needs of both the business owners and visitors. There will be a variety of exciting events to be held at the expo.

There will be a separate section for jewelry, aroma, and cleansing of the internal organs coined “inner beauty” in Korea, which will contribute to expanding the beauty industry, proving the possibility of convergence and a vision of beauty industry.
