Water Water Everywhere
On June 19, the organization committee for the 2015 World Water Forum announced that it held the Declaration Ceremony for a Successful 7th Water World Forum at EXCO in Daegu.
This ceremony was co-hosted by the organization committee for the 2015 World Water Forum, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation (MOLIT), Ministry of Environment (ME), City of Daegu, and Gyeongbeok Province. The organization committee for the 2015 World Water Forum is going to promote this exhibition to the public, and appointed K-Pop group JYJ, singer Jeong Dong-ha, and announcer Hwang Su-gyeong as promotion ambassadors.
The head of the organization committee, Yi Jeong-mu, said at the ceremony, “We need to make the exhibition a revolutionary stepping stone to develop our water industry,” and emphasized close-knit partnerships with departments related to this task.
The World Water Forum is the world’s biggest water exhibition held every three years, discussing solutions for all issues related to water.
