The Beijing office of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) conducted a answer survey of 278 Korean companies in China and announced the results on June 12.

According to the survey, 40.6 percent of the respondents were suffering from a high turnover rate and having difficulties in recruiting new employees.

Of the surveyed companies, 54.3 percent answered that their employees worked for them for less than three years, and 27.3 percent said four to six years on average. No less than 85.3 percent of the firms said they had a hard time hiring workers.

Also, 33.5 percent of them mentioned an excessive wage increase as another major obstacle to their business in China.
