Helping SMEs Build a New Business
Korea East-West Power has signed an agreement with six Korean small and medium-sized companies to localize equipment and materials for gas turbines (F-class).
This agreement is designed to localize equipment and materials for F-class (flame temperature: 1,300 degrees Celsius) gas turbines, which account for 50 percent of the global gas turbine market.
Korea East-West Power aims to help Korean SMEs build a new business and establish a gas turbine supply chain.
The six companies that signed the localization agreement have successfully developed D-class (flame temperature: 1,100 degrees Celsius) compressors, combustors and turbines in cooperation with Korea East-West Power.
In the past decade, Korea East-West Power has successfully cooperated with 13 SMEs to localize 33 D-class maintenance parts for gas turbines at Ilsan Combined Cycle Power Station.
