The Korea Standards Association (KSA) announced on April 16 that it has signed an MOU with Draper Athena, the largest startup investment venture capital in the United States, to share the two organizations’ networks and know-how in discovering promising startups and fostering unicorn companies.

KSA Chairman Lee Sang-jin and Draper Athena CEO Jung Hoe-hoon discussed ways to cooperate in fostering startups and establishing a global joint venture investment fund at DT Center in Samsung-dong, Seoul.

“We look forward to establishing a close cooperative relationship for the development of an ecosystem for startups in Korea through the sharing of know-how and networks for discovering promising startups at home and abroad,” Lee said.

"I look forward to creating synergies for global startup investment through Draper Athena's excellent startup fostering system and KSA’s entrepreneurship training and consulting capabilities," Jung said. “I will do my best to foster global startups in Korea."
