At the Request of Indonesian Government

LG Group's four affiliates will donate COVID-19 diagnostic kits for 50,000 tests to the Indonesian government.

LG Electronics, LG Chem, LG Innotek and LG International announced on March 31 that they would donate COVID-19 diagnostic kits for 50,000 tests to the Indonesian government.

Such kits are currently insufficient in Indonesia and the Indonesian government made a request to the LG Group subsidiaries. They sent some kits for sample tests in mid-March to the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB) and the national board recently completed the tests.

LG Electronics has run consumer electronics manufacturing facilities in Indonesia and LG Chem has a petrochemical unit in the country, where LG Innotek has produced electronic components such as digital tuners and LG International is engaged in projects related to food and energy resources, industrial infrastructure, and information and communications technology and healthcare solutions.
