Electronic Voting System Used

SK Telecom announced on March 15 that it will hold its annual shareholder meeting online on March 26.

The company’s decision comes as an effort to enhance the convenience of shareholders who are not able to attend the meeting in person due to time and distance constraints and to strengthen its shareholder-friendly management through open communication with shareholders.

SK Telecom will provide a live broadcast of the in-person meeting, which will take place at the SUPEX Hall of the company’s headquarters, to shareholders participating online and allow them to actively take part by asking questions.

At this year’s shareholder meeting, SK Telecom's CEO Park Jung-ho and heads of four business divisions -- Mobile Communications, Media, Security and Commerce -- will give a presentation on the company's performance, future growth strategy and business directions as a global leading ICT company.

Shareholders can pre-register their questions or suggestions at the website from March 16 to 26, 2020.

SK Telecom has been actively pursuing shareholder-friendly policies since 2018, which include the adoption of the electronic voting system aimed at improving shareholder convenience. This year, the company's shareholders will be able to exercise their voting rights through electronic voting system from March 16 to 25, 2020.
