EGG DROP, Korea’s first egg sandwich brand, is ready to enter overseas markets at any moment. Since its launch in October 2017, EGG DROP has been steadily increasing sales and is currently operating approximately 180 stores. Since the first half of 2018, it has drawn great attention and support from global consumers through SNS and online media outlets.
The company has been receiving franchise proposals from various countries around the world, including the United States, China, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, and the UAE.
A company official said, "From the second half of last year, we began to receive as many proposals from overseas as in Korea. Many potential partners actually visited franchise stores in Korea to taste our sandwiches and had meetings with the head office." He added, "Most potential overseas partners have a high opinion of the originality of EGG DROP, describing it as an ingenious brand in terms of both taste and splendor."
EGG DROP is on track to tapping into overseas markets while continuously promoting domestic operations. Market watchers are paying keen attention to EGG DROP’s future operations overseas, for it has become a phenomenon in the restaurant market, which is known for intense competition.
Currently, EGG DROP operates stores throughout Korea from Jeju Island to Gangwon Province, including the busy districts of Seoul such as Gangnam, Hongdae, Dongdaemun, and recently, Myeong-dong.
