Hyundai Motor unveiled a Global Hydrogen Campaign video starring BTS, the world’s most popular K-pop super band, at Times Square in New York City on Feb. 21 (local time).

The video played at the Marriott Marquis Hotel Billboard at the heart of New York's Times Square, the global commercial, financial, and cultural center with foot traffic of nearly 1.5 million people a day.

The five-minute video was aired recurrently for one hour, presenting various inspirations coming from nature, including the first snow, forests and blue sky. BTS members introduced the beauty of nature, a legacy for posterity, in their own handwriting.

At the same time, the video introduced Hyundai Motor’s vision and efforts for a future hydrogen society by presenting the NEXO, a hydrogen-powered electric vehicle that does not emit pollutants other than water.

"We will continue to carry out activities with BTS, a global brand ambassador for Hyundai Motors, to inform people of future challenges for society," a Hyundai Motor official said.
