New Model Provides 100x Zoom

A photo of Samsung Electronics' Galaxy S20 Ultra

A photo of Samsung Electronics' flagship phone Galaxy S20 series has been released. The new model is slated to make its debut in San Francisco, the United States on Feb. 11 (local time). The photo of the Galaxy S20 Ultra shows a rear camera module reminiscent of the square camera module of the Apple iPhone series.

The photo was released by Jon Prosser, the founder of Front Page Tech, a technical magazine, on Feb. 5 (local time).

The photo shows that the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the top model of the new Galaxy S20 series, has four rear cameras and a flash inside a large square module. At the bottom of the module is the phrase “Space Zoom 100X,” which means the Galaxy S20 Ultra provides magnification of up to 100 times.

The width of the Galaxy S20 Plus’ camera module shown alongside the Galaxy S20 Ultra is about half as thin as that of the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

"The Galaxy S20 Ultra looks like a door of a Samsung smart refrigerator," a Twitter user said.
