The Born2Global Center announced on Feb. 5 that its member Chequer, a startup developing data collaboration and security solutions, was selected as a new service partner of global software development platform GitHub and launched its service last month.

GitHub selected 22 new partners last month, including emerging development tools such as DataCamp, Baremetrics and DeepSource. Its existing partners include Microsoft Azure, Digital Ocean and Jetbrains.

GitHub is an open-source software platform company located in San Francisco. Its source code management service for software development is in wide use around the world for code version management, collaboration, etc.

Chequer recently finished the registration of its database integration, management and development solution SQLGate on the Student Developer Pack in the GitHub platform. The solution is to help handle databases and supports various database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL. The Student Developer Pack provides various development tools in one pack after a simple certification process. Chequer is planning to register the same solution on the GitHub Teachers Pack as well.

Founded in 2016, Chequer is currently doing business with more than 2,000 clients, including IT companies, public institutions and financial institutions such as Samsung Display, DB Insurance and the National Tax Service.
