Hanwha Q CELLS has been selected as the top brand photovoltaics (PV) maker for seven consecutive years in Europe and five consecutive years in Australia. The honor is given by EuPD Research, a solar power research institute that evaluates solar power companies’ brand awareness and market penetration in Europe and Australia.
Hanwha Q CELLS announced on Jan. 22 that it has been selected as the top European solar brand since 2014, two years after Hanwha Group acquired Q CELLS in Germany in 2012. Since 2016, the company has nabbed the annual top solar power brand prize in Australia.
Hanwha Q CELLS supplies Q.HOME, an energy photovoltaic solution that combines the technology of the Cupid Duo Series and a solar power storage system recognized by major industry awards in Europe and Australia. The company is also supplying Q.FLAT, a commercial photovoltaic solution that saves solar power generation facility builders time and money, to the European market. Hanwha Q CELLS is also engaging in a power retail business that sells electricity to homes and businesses, establishing itself as a total energy solution provider by starting from Germany.
Its sales strategy using Q.PARTNER, an advanced program for sales agencies, also paid off handsomely. Hanwha Q CELLS offers a variety of cooperative services including on-line education and marketing materials, to its partners. Over 1500 partners have already joined in Europe and more than 150 in Australia since 2018. In addition, Hanwha Q CELLS is boosting its brand power among end customers through sports marketing.
