Amorepacific offers “My Delicious Therapy,” a service tailored to customers' personal preferences.

The Korean cosmetics industry is providing an experience that cannot be offered by ready-made cosmetics by reflecting users’ tastes and skin conditions as consumers have become pickier.

Amorepacific joined hands with Link Solutions, a developer of 3D printers, in 2017. Through the partnership, their 3D printing technology won the Innovation Award for 3D Printing at CES 2020.

The 3D printing mask pack manufacturing technology is an application developed by Amorepacific and designs a 2D mask pattern by taking a photo of a face and measuring the sizes of ​​the user's eyes, nose, mouth, forehead, cheeks, and jaw. Based on the size of the face and the coordinates of each part, the technology creates a personal mask design that can provide the best fit to the user's face. Cartridges containing hydro gels optimized for skin condition of each spot are selected by identifying the skin characteristics of each spot through a skin diagnosis device and big data. After that, a customized mask pack can be directly put out from a 3D printer within 5 minutes. The user can immediately put the mask on his or her face

Customers can also easily find places that allows them to directly experience personalized cosmetics. Amorepacific's premium moisturizing brand Laneige has launched "My Delicious Therapy," a customized service that allows a customer to make Laneige's best-selling product, Lip Sleeping Mask, at a Laneige store in Myeong-dong, Seoul. Customers can make their own products with scents of their own choice and even design their packages. Customers can choose one of 10 kinds of scents. After trying out some scents and receiving advice, they can choose scents that suit them.

Moreover, if a customer has a difficulty in choosing her favorite lipstick color, she can get help from Amorepacific's "Color Taylor" Application. This service launched by Amorepacific, in January 2018 finds the perfect lipstick for users based on AI deep learning technology. The deep learning technology recommends the best color for users among about 6,000 lip stick products from more than 150 brands.
