Sustained Excellence
Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics were both chosen side by side as winners of the “Sustained Excellence” award, a top award of the “2014 Energy Star Awards,” organized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“The Energy Star Award” is the most prestigious award in environment and energy, based on an evaluation of 20,000 regional governments and organizations that participate in the Energy Star Program, administered by the U.S. government.
Especially, the “Sustained Excellence” award is given to a corporation or organization with superb performance in terms of environmental protection and energy conservation among companies that received the “Energy Star Partner of The Year” award more than twice.
Also, 100 models were chosen as having the best energy efficiency in “The 2013 Energy Star Most Efficient” program.
