“We will provide Korean payment and purchase services exclusively for users of Discover and Diners Club credit cards issued overseas,” a BC Card official said. “We will establish new infrastructure to offer the services starting next year.”

The Discover Global Network is the union of Discover's global payment networks consisting of more than 15 partners including the Discover Network, Diners Club International, Pulse and partners in Korea, China, Japan, India, Brazil and Turkey. Its services are provided through more than 44 million merchants and over 2 million ATMs all over the world.

Through this partnership, BC Card will be the first Korean credit card company to carry out purchases from Korean merchants for all international brand credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay and JCB. Korean merchants will be able to accept all overseas credit cards through BC Card.
