Doosan Mobility Innovation has launched a hydrogen fuel cell pack that can keep drones airborne for two hours.

The company announced on Oct. 17 that it held a ceremony to launch the hydrogen fuel cell pack DP30 for drones at DLI Yonkangwon in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.

In addition, the company introduced DMI View, software for drones, and demonstrated tasks that can be implemented via a long-time drone flight such as construction site mapping (cartography), facility safety inspections, searches for missing people, and locating polluting sources.

“Doosan Mobility Innovation’s fuel cell pack for drones will be a new concept platform to be widely used in the infrastructure and logistics and transportation industries,” said Dong Hyun-soo, vice chairman of Doosan Corp.
