Starting with a presentation on the industrial complex smartization strategy of the Korea Industrial Complex Corp., the participants shared Korea and Germany’s various digitalization strategies including the digital innovation strategy of NRW State, Germany's largest industrial region, some cases of the Aachen Institute of Technology and the Fraunhofer Application Center, and the Changwon National Industrial Complex’s smartization.
They also shared cases of innovative companies in the Aachen Innovation Area, the leading advanced base for Germany's 4th Industrial Revolution policies.
Korea Industrial Complex Corp. explained that it planned the seminar in line with a transition to a smart industrial complex where companies in the same industry and value chains become smart by going beyond the smartization of individual companies.
