Samsung Electronics Co. has been chosen as the sixth most loved brand among young Americans.
The company ranked sixth in the “Millennials' Top 100 Brands" list recently released by global marketing agency Moosylvania based in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. The marketing firm polled 1,000 millennials aged 19 to 39 to create the list.
Samsung Electronics has maintained the sixth position for two years. It was the only Asian firm that made the top 10 and the most highly ranked among non-U.S. companies.
Amazon moved two notches up from third last year to the No. 1 spot this year, while Apple, Nike, Walmart and Target rounded up the top five. Samsung Electronics was followed by Google, Adidas, Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola. Japan’s Sony fell from eighth last year to 13th this year, while Honda slid from 14th to 34th. South Korea’s LG Electronics ranked 57th this year, moving 15 notches down from 42nd last year.
