Incheon as an International Cruise Destination
The Incheon Port Authority (IPA) will participate in the 2019 Asia Cruise Forum Jeju to be held at the Jeju International Convention Center from Aug. 28-30 to publicize Incheon Port and encourage cruise lines to make a call at the port next year.
The cruise forum is held under the theme of “Asia Cruise, Toward Peace and Common Prosperity” with the attendance of some 1,600 people from the world's leading cruise business operators including Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruise, Costa Group, and Genting Cruise Line and Korean and foreign cruise industry officials.
The IPA will introduce Incheon Port, its strategy to operate a cruise terminal and its strategy to attract international cruise lines.
Meanwhile, the 2019 Asia Cruise Forum Jeju will consist of the Asia Cruise Leaders Network (ACLN) Annual Meeting, the Cruise Business Development Council, Cruise Industry Personnel Business Reception, Cruise Ship Supplies Business Briefing Session, Cruise Industry Job Fair, and Cruise Industry Exhibition.
Sessions include "Exchanges for Cooperation and Balanced Growth in the Asian Cruise Industry, "New Trends in the Asian Cruise Industry and Appropriate Responses," and "Methods for Boosting the Cruise Industry."
