Daewoo Engineering & Construction (Daewoo E&C) announced on Aug. 26 that it signed a comprehensive business cooperation agreement with CC1, a leading general construction company in Vietnam, at Daewoo E&C’s head office in Seoul on Aug. 23.

Through this agreement, Daewoo E&C and CC1 will exchange bidding information on construction markets in Korea and Vietnam, and explore opportunities for cooperation in Vietnam.

In particular, the two companies plan to land new construction projects in various fields such as infrastructure, real estate, oil & gas facilities, based on Daewoo E&C’s technology and experience.

The deal will enable Daewoo E&C to expand its business throughout Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City in cooperation with CC1 and aggressively expand its business in new areas using Vietnam as an important business base.
