A Tablet That Can Be Remotely Controlled

The Galaxy Tab S6 from Samsung Electronics

Samsung Electronics announced on Aug. 1 that it will launch its premium tablet Galaxy Tab S6 in the global market beginning the end of August.

The Galaxy Tab S6 is loaded with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It features an upgraded S Pen and Samsung Note that can maximize tablet usability, and dual camera and on-screen fingerprint recognition.

The Galaxy Tab S6 recognizes the movement of the S Pen via the S Pen Air Action function which enables users to remotely control the tablet. Even if a user does not hold the tablet in their hand, they can take a picture or shoot a video with the S Pen, and can control multimedia content.

The tablet can easily convert handwritings by the S Pen into various text formats including MS Word, making it easier to edit, save, and share memos.

The Galaxy Tab S6 is the first Samsung tablet to have a 13 megapixel camera and a five megapixel dual camera on the back. The five megapixel ultra-wide angle camera can take pictures at a wide angle of up to 123 degrees similar to a human viewing angle.

The new model also recognizes and analyzes shooting scenes with an AI-based intelligent neural processing unit (NPU), supporting the most appropriate setting for each scene.

The Galaxy Tab S6 is the first Samsung tablet with an on-screen fingerprint recognition function so users can unlock it more quickly and conveniently.
