Paul Labus’ posting on dribble.com gave a public sneak preview of Apple’s new iOS8 and its updated multi-tasking feature.

The public got a sneak peak at Apple’s new Operating System, iOS8, which is due to be unveiled at The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June this year. Images of Samsung Electronics’ next generation smartphone Galaxy S5 have been leaked as well, triggering a mountain of interest on various communities around the Internet.

Independent blogger Bill Labus posted a review of iOS8 on Feb. 20, along with a video showing the interactions of iOS 8’s Control Center on dribble.com, a community site dedicated to graphic designers and mobile programmers.

Bill Labus said of the previous version, iOS7, “...I find double-clicking the home button to be irritating...” Then he introduced his video, which shows the new iOS’ proposed multi-tasking feature. “Check out a video of the interactions in action.”

His video shows experimentation with the UI/UX mechanics of the iOS, and introduces an updated Control Center that combines that of the existing version iOS7 with the proposed new multi-tasking.

In the previous iOS7, iPhone’s “Home” buttons had to be pressed twice, but the new Control Center, or the iOS’ home base for multi-tasking, has done away with the unnecessary double-click, allowing for easier maneuvering.

With this updated Mission Control, flicking up from the bottom and vice versa enables quick access to the Control Center and view of the active app.
