100 million Won fuel support each to 40 food truckers from last year

[Press Release] On Jul. 12th, S-OIL (Representative Director: Hussain Al-Qahtani) held ‘Fuel Donation Ceremony to Young Food Truckers’ and donated 100 million Won to Work Together Foundation for the cause.

S-OIL started the CSR program last year with the goal to support young self-employed men and women running food truck business, thereby contribute to easing youth unemployment and creating more jobs for the youth. Food trucks, which makes frequent presence in culture festivals hosted by local governments including Seoul city, has been gaining traction from young men and women lately as an appealing business.

S-OIL, which posted a notice on its fuel donation program that any food truckers nationwide aged under 39 can apply for, picked 20 food truckers in Seoul metropolitan and another 20 truckers beyond Seoul. Each trucker will receive two million Won oil coupon from the refiner.

At the donation ceremony S-OIL CEO Hussain Al-Qahtani attending the donation ceremony cheered up the passionate young truckers to go after their dreams and expressed his respect for them. “Don’t forget that everyone is cheering the young men and women to go after their dreams and S-OIL will give a helping hand so that their toil and sweat pay off.”
