To Warm the Hearts of the Passengers
Airport Railroad, which is the most preferred means of transportation for tourists who want to travel from Incheon International Airport to the heart of Seoul, has started a new service for its customers.
Airport Railroad announced on June 28 that words of encouragment will be narrated by train drivers to warm the hearts of the passengers.
The Airport Railroad section between Magongnaru Station and Digital Media City (DMC) Station includes Magokdaegyo, a bridge that offers passengers an entire view of the Han River. It is when an Airport Railroad train runs across the bridge that phrases of encouragement such as “Cheers! We respect your dreams and decisions,” “Say ‘I love you’ to your family and friends” and “We wish you a happy, rewarding day today” are narrated by the driver.
On May 16, “2019 AREX Driver Narration Competition” took place at Yongyu Garage of AREX to select the best announcer.
Driver Na In-chang, who won the grand prize in the competition, said, “All this started from our desire to communicate better with passengers. I want to keep company with the passengers by delivering warm and emotional messages to them with my own voice.”
